My journey into writing
I started writing little stories at just nine years old, as all children do. "Crown of Sand and Stars" marks my first completed novel. Beyond the pages, I'm an avid reader, I love crocheting and endless scrolling through Pinterest. Some of my all-time favourite reads include the "Magnolia Parks" series by Jessa Hastings, Sarah J Maas's "Throne of Glass" series, and "Heartless" by Marissa Meyer.

Alessia is a Cypriot-British writer, based in Dubai, proud book hoarder and an indecisive introvert. When she’s not writing (which is rarely) she’s reading, crocheting beachwear or scrolling on Pinterest. She’s been writing stories since she was nine, and Crown of Sand and Stars is the first of a number of fantasy novels.
